How can i make my dad take care of himself if he is alcoholic?

Get him treatment: Alcoholism is a medical illness and not a character problem. Do what you would do if he had diabetes or hypertension. Take him to a specialist who treats addiction. It can be treated on an outpatient basis in most cases.
