Try cool compresses: If the compresses don't work, a good otc drop is zaditor twice a day. For prescription drops, Lastacaft (alcaftadine) and Pataday are also effective.

Eye drops help: There are no real cures for eye allergies, but there are many effective treatments. Over the counter drops like zaditor (ketotifen) work well to control the symptoms. Sometimes you need to treat them with oral medicines like Allegra or zyrtec. See an ophthalmologist if these are not effective.
