Candidal overgrowth: This urban myth has not been scientifically proven, but it has not been disproved. The "balance" between bacterial flora and yeast cells in the intestinal tract (colon) is generally regulated by what you eat. If you choose to add unpasteurized yogurt to your diet it may well change the character of your stools, since it contains lactobacilli. Same available as a probiotic for oral use.
