Yes: This is not very much talked about but many of my patients complain of difficulty with reading comprehension. Can get a little better with treatment but tend to remain significant. Research studies have confirmed this with formal testing. Substantial proportion reach criteria for dyslexia.

No: Not particularly. A person with schizophrenia may or may not have learning/reading problems. They are really separate conditions. I will add that, a person with schizophrenia may possibly be distracted by, for example, hallucinations and hearing voices, which could impact their reading and concentration.
