Possibly: Allergy injections are given to decrease the severity and hopefully "cure" your allergies. There are times when you should not receive your allergy shot and you should discuss this with your allergist. Two quick examples, if your are asthmatic and having symptoms or you are taking certain medications you should not receive your allergy shot.
