A member asked:

Is it common to feel sick after a hep a vaccine?

Not usually: The hepatitis a vaccine is relatively mild. We usually don't hear many complaints from parents after their children get the shot. Adults have a few more side effects with local soreness in 1 out of 2, headache in 1 out of 6, and tiredness in 1 out of 14. If you don't feel better soon, please call your doctor.
