F/u with your MD: You need to follow up with your liver doctor or your primary doctor. There is no clear guideline on how to f/u patient with liver cirrhosis. Some doctors would do a blood work that include an afp- a cancer marker for liver cancer- , plus imaging study- i.e. Sonogram of the liver alternating with MRI ( if needed) periodically every 6 months or so. Discuss in detail with your md.
