My dad fell and hit his head, but the ct was clear and he was sent home. why is he delirious and confused now?

No test is perfect.: Ct can miss early or small events and cannot see some lesions in the brain at all. Sometimes the brain can swell after an event producing symptoms. He needs re-evaluation now.
