Benign fascics: Fasciculations on EMG are not rare, and usually represent benign events. Stress is not typically the cause of such events, as electrolyte or chemical imbalance in the body is more directly related, but stress may lead to loss of homeostasis. The fasciculation finding alone, is not necessarily a sign of any worrisome process.
