Yes: High fsh indicates low ovarian reserve, a low number of eggs. Very high fsh indicates menopause and requires oocyte donation to conceive. Modest elevations in fsh indicate that egg numbers are low. Many women with low egg numbers can successfully conceive. While fsh is a reasonable measure of egg numbers, it is not a good measure of egg quality. If eggs are available, treatment might work.

Yes.: High fsh can mean perimenopause and menopause. In either situation, topical, cyclic, bioidentical hrt will bring down the fsh.
