DERMATITIS: Itchy skin has many causes: dry itchy skin in dermatitis sicca, urticaria, scabies, insect bites, atopic and contact dermatitis, miliaria, dermatitis herpetiformis and lichen planus to mention some pruritic disorders.

Agree w Dr Cordero: Additionally - it might just be plain old dry skin. Hydrate well orally. Use gentle soap and lotion.
