A member asked:

Do people with walleye/cockeye/lazy eye see double?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: After a while, the brain turns off one if the images so the double vision stops, but they only see from one eye. That process is called amblyopia. There are cases where a weakness develops in one of the muscles controlling eye direction, which causes double vision. If that recovers, or the distortion is fixed, they may preserve vision in both eyes with proper alignment.
