Can swollen lymph nodes be caused by a tooth abscess?

Yes: The lymph nodes draining an area with an infection can become enlarged as the body tries to fight the infection. Typically lymph nodes in the neck, and behind the ears can swell from a tooth abscess.

Absolutely: Lymph nodes drain areas of the body. If you have an active infection such as a tooth access, seeing swollen lymph nodes would corroborate the abscess diagnosis.
