Yes: Cervical spine trauma can cause leg weakness because the spinal cord travels through the cervical spine. If a fracture or dislocation of a bone in the cervical spine causes pressure on the spinal cord this can cause leg weakness. Anyone who has a cervical spine injury and now has leg weakness needs to be seen in the er right now to be evaluated.
