No: Anything we put into our mouth can potentially stain our teeth. Coffee, red wine, tea are commonly known to stain our teeth. Drinking a cup of coffee a day will likely stain teeth, if proper dental hygiene is not performed, but will not make your teeth yellow. When teeth are stained, they look darker, but keep in mind, that our teeth have natural yellow tone to them.

Yes: Coffee/tea/red wines/tomato based sauces/berries...Foods with deep color/juice. Enamel starts out thick and can wear with age. You can still enjoy your favorite foods and drinks, just take a break after you've finished and either brush or rinse your mouth out...This will help to keep stains at bay. Chewing gum (sugar free/doesn't stick to dental work) will stimulate saliva flow-natural cleanser.

No: Tea will yellow your teeth faster, but both stains will polish off when you have a dental cleaning.

Yes: Yes coffee can be one contributing factor to teeth staining as well as a number of other foods and drinks such as red wine, tomato/spaghetti sauce, etc. There is no answer to how much is too much, but some tips are to drink your coffee through a straw which helps it avoid the fronts of your front teeth and swishing with water after drinking/eating something staining.
