A member asked:

Why do i have hip pain and with arthroscopic prucedure help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hip pain: Simplistically--anterior ie groin area pain could be arthritic or muscular in origin, lateral pain is often bursitis while pain in back of hip often comes from the spine. If no help with advil or aleve (naproxen). See your pcp. Arthroscopy is done much more for knee issues than hip and certainly not early in the course.
