MRI, nonsurgical rx: You should ask about the diagnosis based on your exam, what the MRI shows and whether there are abnormalities that explain your pain, and the range of treatment options, from medications up to surgery. Ask about the risks and benefits of each modality. Ask how the condition would be treated if this was his/her problem.
