Peptic ulcer: Even though we use effective medications in the treatment of peptic ulcers like nexium or zantac, I still recommend avoiding spicey foods, alcohol, nicotine and excessive caffeine intake and prohibit the use of antiinflammatory medications like aspirin,Advil, and aleve. Corticosteroids to be used cautiously and only if necessary.
