what herbs are good for healing sprains and strains?

1 doctor answer
Dr. John Ebner
17 years experience Dermatology
Arnica & Rutin: If you have sprains and strains then you may benefit from using two natural herbal remedies. Arnica is good for swelling and pain and healing. It comes at a pill and as a gel to rub on the areas. Rutin is good for bruising. You can find both at the health food store. Make sure you check to see if they interact with any of your prescription medications before taking them.
