Start with RICE: I recommend you start with rice, follow with stretching/ strengthening (therapy that a healthcare provider can teach you to do at home), & consider bracing. If these treatments fail you may be a candidate for cortisone or prp injections depending on your specific injury. Some people end up needing surgery...
