My child can not extend elbow all the way after removing a splint. normal?

Normal: The range of motion of the elbow is often decreased after extended immobilization. In a child, this range of motion should return to normal or near normal fairly quickly with continued use. If it is not improving quickly, you should discuss with your doctor if re-evaluation or physical therapy is indicated.
