Is there radioactive exposure suring elbow reconstruction surgery?

Minimal: Radiation is associated with most imaging procedures with the exception of MRI and ultrasound. Ct scan is associated with the most radiation and plain x-ray the least. During elbow reconstruction portable, real-time x-ray called fluoroscopy is used to ensure proper placement of the prosthesis. The fluoroscopy is use in small doses throught the case.
