Genes, autoimmune: Genetic predisposition. Autoimmune; new research shows perhaps an infectious "trigger" in some. Can be tested if in question. Blood tests for antibody, with biopsy of bowel to confirm. Genetic test may help to exclude. Some people have"sensitivity" w/ gut symptoms, eating grains (gluten continuing foods). These may be due to carbs, not protein in the grains that are not well digested.
