Possible side effect: Cetirizine is only recommended to be take once every 24 hours. Taking more than the recommended dose can be harmful in terms of increasing the chances of side effects. If your allergy symptoms are not relieved by taking over the counter anti-histamines then talk with your physician to determine additional or alternative therapies. The symptoms may be something other than allegies.

More side effect: Taking more than one Cetirizine per 24 hours is not recommended as it is probably no more effective and you will only increase the likelihood of an adverse effect or drug interaction. If this were an accidental ingestion, a single extra dose is unlikely to cause any significant side effect. Maybe some drowsiness.
