Yes: Pimecrolimus is a non-steroid agent whose mechanism of action is unknow, other than it is known to bind certain cytokines in the skin. Its absorption through the skin is very low, and blood evels virtually zero. It is cleared for topical use in children. Therefore it should be ok to use in infants. However, there is no data to specifically approve it for infants as there are no studies.
