PEP or wait: If you have strong reason to think you're at risk, you can see a doctor or go to an er (today!) for post-exposure prophylaxis (pep). Otherwise, you should get an HIV test in 3 and 6 months, or sooner (using a viral load or 4th generation test) if you feel sick with a fever and mono-like illness.
