Yes: You can certainly take ring out for up to 3 hrs. Then, after sex, rinse ring with sl. Warm water and replace it in. The noted blood may be the result of the ring rubbing against the vaginal wall or due to an infection, irreg. Menses, cervical polyp, abnormal pap, etc. If the bleeding persists after the ring is removed for sex, consult your gyn. Good luck!
