Anyone know about a child with haemangioma birthmark? how long do they grow for, and how long to shrink away?

Hemangiomas can vary: It depends on what type of hemangioma it is. For the most common, the superficial capillary hemangioma ('strawberry hemangioma'), it can be there at birth or appear in the first few months. It initially grows faster than the baby, then at the same rate, then slower;usually it starts to shrink in late infancy. It resolves in 90% of kids by 9 years old. There can, however, be residual skin changes.
