Depends on person: Greatly depends on the mental make up of the patient with hcv. During treatment however, patient may experience emotional difficulties (i.e. Depression, sadness, anxiety) some to such a degree that treatment must be stopped.

HCV: certainly, having any chronic disease can affect your emotional well-being. Anxiety and worry are normal in that setting. However, given the new drugs that are available to treat it, HCV is now a curable disease. Go back to your liver specialist if you have not seen him or her in the last six months. Good luck!
