Can brief seizures be associated with adhd or the use of straterra?

Please see below.: Adhd and a seizure disorder can both occur in the same patient, but one doesn't cause the other. Seizures are not listed as an adverse effect of strattera (atomoxetine).

Not usually : Seizures are more comon in adhd patients so it's difficult to tease out what's cause or effect. On the other hand, petite mal, or absence seizures can be a cause for spacing out or inattention; if you suspect this, talk to your doctor about getting an eeg to see if a seizure disorder is present or not.

Mimic ADHD: People who have frequent brief seizures or who have frequent epileptiform discharges on their EEG may find difficulty with focus and sustained attention. They may miss parts of conversations or instruction. This may mimic ADHD but is not ADHD. Extremely rare that Strattera (atomoxetine) would cause seizures.
