What physical limitations do you have with lumbar fusion and laminectomies?

Reduced flexibility : There usually is very little limitations after laminectomy. Fusions will reduce mobility somewhat, which is offset by reduced pain. Patients often notice improved mobility and flexibility because they can do more without pain.
