Caution: Avoid high impact & strenuous activity. Allow for healing then do rehab to regain flexibility & strength. This depends on the type and severity of the fracture.

Depends: If it is unstable, then you may need surgery to fix it. If it is stable, you may need a hard cervical collar to let it heal over the next 6weeks.
