Transplant Center: Only the lung transplant center team has the authority to place and remove patients from the national waiting list. To find centers go to www.Unos.Org lung specialists should also be capable of referring you to a lung transplant center if it is appropriate. At the center, the patient is evaluated to determine if txp is necessary and if he/she meets selection criteria. The pt is also educated.
