Depends : This would depend on the type of practice. Most likely, have office hours, set times for surgery. Some may take "emergency call" at the local hospital. Some may be teaching positions, so it all depends on how they want to practice.

Just about every--: -thing. More than just fixing bones, ligaments, muscle injuries et all. You also find yourself being a councilor for the the depressed & anxious, as well as family problems. But the thing to really remember is LISTENING to patients, they are telling you what's wrong. Then there is call, surgery, emergencies that may take you away from the patients with appointments. Hard to juggle @ times.
