Arms, Legs?: If you are talking about new technology for arm or leg prosthesis then the most recent work was developing an arm that can move as a normal arm. The technology exists now (recently featured in cnn: http://www.Cnn.Com/video/#/video/international/2013/04/29/aom-art-movement-glass-bionic-arm.Cnn ). Current research is on figuring out better ways for amputees to be able to control these devices.
