What is the cause?: It is not unusual to have some pain for a few weeks after mcl injury. Residual medial (inside) knee pain after mcl injury may be due to a meniscus tear. Other locations could be due to bone bruise, ligament or muscular injury. If you cannot progress in your rehab get it checked.
