Not typically a help: Knee braces are typically used for ligament issues due to their ability to help stabilize the knee. Because a meniscus tear is a cartilage injury, a brace is not typically helpful. There can be a placebo effect to a brace though, thus i would recommend nothing more than a sleeve-type brace.
