Can be normal: The color of blood tells you how old the blood is. Red color suggests fresh blood while dark brown color suggests old blood that has been sitting around for a while.

Yes: Depend how long the blood stay in the vagina. Dark brown or deep red if is longer. Lite red or red if is short time.
