My back hurts if i stand for more than 5 minutes. if i sit down for 10 it stops. i used to only have to have that area massaged once every 3 to 4 months now it's every week and i still have the problem. what can i do to help my lower back?

Get it evaluated: You need to see someone and have this evaluated properly. In the meantime, posture, orthotics (some inserts with good arches in your shoes may alleviate this) and , arched backrest in your desk chair, and gentle stretching may help you get by, possibly even resolve it.
