Fluids: Fluids should be the mainstay of treatment/nutrition in case of a fever in a toddler. He/she may not quite an appetite for solids when running a fever and i would not push anything other than liquid diet. When he/she improves, appetite naturally returns. Otherwise, if they show desire to eat, let them eat what they want.
