Need More Info: Any rash or skin lesions require a visual assessment to properly diagnose and treat. It's hard to know what these "dots" look like. How long have they been there? Are they colored? In clusters? Do they itch or burn? Have you had them before? It could be related to your eczema or it could be something unrelated. A picture and more information could help us get to the bottom of this.

Eval: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.

How does smoking affect your lips?

Dr. Daniel Behroozan answered

Badly: Smoking affects "lip lines" in two ways:
1. The repetitive movement around the lips as a result of puckering repetitvely can lead to vertical lines around the mouth.
2. More importantly, smoking can lead to elastic fiber and collagen degeneration in the skin, which as a result, can lead to sagging and wrinkling of the perioral skin.

Mucous cyst: This can represent cyst from gland in lip. It may be result of trauma from tooth. It will not go away but it can temporarily shrink with the use of a wet tea bag on the inner lip. This ma require mior surgical procedure.
