A member asked:

How do tonsil infections manifest?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sore throat: The most common symptom of tonsillitis is sore throat (although there are many other causes of throat soreness). This is often accompanied by redness or white spots on the tonsils, fever, fatigue, headache, and upset stomach or nausea and vomiting (especially in children). The lymph nodes in the neck may be enlarged as well.
