Why is it big ?: The first thing to assess is why your leg swells, and then address treatment. Your physician should be able to take a detailed history, examine you, and may order either an ultraound or angiogram of that leg. Common causes include chronic venous thrombus or lymphedema, and the treatments are different. Good luck!
