Their is no alternative in treating a potentially severe disease such as ra, which a high ccp antibody suggests.

Not likely.: Apparently, these are antibodies to cyclic citrullinated protein antibodies (anti-ccp) that are often seen in the blood of rheumatoid arthritis patients. Their significance in RA is questionable at best, and they may not be directly involved with it. Having said this it is unlikely there is medicine with any affect on the levels of this antibody.
