A member asked:

What are the odds of getting pregnant if you miss two birth control pills?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low: Studies have shown that many women regularly either miss 1-3 pills in a given month and/or do not take their pill the same time everyday. The typical effect of this is abnormal bleeding. Missing pills in the middle of a pack rarely result in an unintended pregnancy. The risk is slightly greater if you miss the first 2 pills at the beginning of your new pack. Consider using a 26 day pill.
