A member asked:

I have mvp regurgitation. how often may it not pose a problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: It depends on how bad the regurgitation and prolapse are. Very mild prolapse and regurgitation are quite common, and most people with this go their entire lives without it causing a problem. If it is moderate or severe, it can require medication and/or surgery.
