Acetaminophen: If you are on mobic(generic=meloxicam) or another nsaid(nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug), you should avoid other nsaids due to the potential adverse affects. However, Acetaminophen (brand-name= tylenol) can be safely taken up to 4grams total daily. Due to Acetaminophen being in multiple over-the-counter products, be very careful not to exceed 4 grams of Acetaminophen total.
