Yes: Yes, you can have pain radiation down into the groin or into the leg. There can be radiation of the pain from the back without any affected nerve roots in the back and/or there can be irritation of a nerve root in the lower back that supplies part of the leg and you may feel pain in the distribution of that nerve root. There are other things that can also cause groin pain.
