Cause dependent: Restasis does help in certain types of dry eye situations to increase tear production. May not always be able to overcome the lack of secretion of tears. Should be followed closely by your eye doctor.

Dry Eyes & Restatsis: Dry eyes can be very frustrating!there are many therapy options: best to start naturally (warm compresses, diluted baby shampoo scrubs) & move up a "ladder approach." Restasis works but takes weeks & may need steroid drop at same time (to help you tolerate restasis) more info at: http://eyedoc2020.Blogspot.Com/2013/04/best-step-ladder-approach-to-dry-eye.Html i hope this helps you!
