Does eucalyptus oil spray in a steam room kill cold and flu viruses? if so, what else does eucalyptus spray kill?

No : As far as i know, the eucalyptus oil doesn't kill viruses or bacteria. But it improves the breathing by opening the airway and decresing the amount of secretions on your lungs. Anyone else knows differently?
